Application
AdBlue® helps to reduce pollutant emissions in the automotive industry. This is achieved through SCR technology. Using the latest catalytic converters developed for diesel engines, also known as SCR catalytic converters, nitrogen oxides can be converted into harmless water vapour and nitrogen. This is achieved using the urea solution AdBlue®, which is dosed into the catalytic converters and thus sets the chemical process in motion. This reduces the emission of harmful nitrogen oxides by up to 90 %, enabling compliance with the Euro 6 emissions standard. AdBlue® can withstand all weather conditions within Europe and can therefore be used without any problems. The product freezes at temperatures below -11 °C. It is therefore essential to use heated AdBlue® pumps in the Nordic and colder countries. Some SCR lorries have special heating systems that allow the SCR system to operate even at colder temperatures. The product is used in vehicles powered by diesel engines: Cars, lorries and agricultural vehicles such as tractors.

Vor dem Essen, Trinken oder Rauchen und beim Verlassen des Arbeitsplatzes die Hände und andere exponierte Körperstellen mit milder Seife und Wasser waschen. Prozessbereich mit guter Be- und Entlüftung ausstatten um die Bildung von Dämpfen zu vermeiden.

Storage
Nur im Originalbehälter an einem kühlen, gut gelüfteten Ort aufbewahren. Behälter verschlossen halten, wenn dieser nicht in Gebrauch ist. Direkte Sonneneinstrahlung vermeiden. Die Lagerung von AdBlue® erweist sich als sehr simpel, da es bei Raumtemperatur gelagert werden kann. Idealerweise liegt die Lagertemperatur um die 25 °C. Ab einer Temperatur von unter minus 11 °C kristallisiert AdBlue®. Haltbar ist das Produkt je nach Lagerstandort ca. 18 – 36 Monate. Es handelt sich bei AdBlue® um kein Gefahrgut und es ist in der niedrigsten Wassergefährdungsklasse 1 eingestuft.
